My personal bio
Amare Teklay Hailu is a post-doctoral researcher at the Center for Environmental and Resource Economics (CERE) in the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Umeå. Amare holds a PhD in Economics (2018) from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). His PhD research was supervised by Prof. Arild Angelsen and Prof. Stein Holden at the School of Economics and Business, NMBU.
Amare studies behavioral and environmental issues using experimental approach in economics. He has also background in software engineering, and his current research interests include agent based modeling, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
